Located in Standish, to the north of Wigan, Lancashire. The Palace Cinema was opened in 1927. Around 1930 it was equipped with a Gramo Radio sound system. Around 1946 it was equipped with a British Acoustic(BA) sound system. It was still open in 1954, but had closed by 1958.
