Delaware’s Edison Dreamland Theatre only operated during the silent era, more commonly before World War I. It was opened by February, 1907 when it was playing 12 shows a day and was operated by Dr. N.J. Hoyt of Delaware who also operated the Edison Dreamland Theatre in Marysville, OH. (Marysville’s Edison Dreamland Theatre became the Strand Theatre in the middle of 1917 until closing in 1950.
I cannot find a lot of information on the Edison Dreamland Theatre, Delaware, but the only main headline I can find about this theatre is the ownership which on October 4, 1907, Dr. N. J. Hoyt of Delaware sold both Marysville and Delaware Dreamland Theatres to Massilion, Ohio’s M. G. Knoblock and H. F. Gronver after a fire breaking out in the Edison Dreamland Theatre, Marysville in March 1907.
