Located on the West side of The Square and West Street in the historic West Country town of Wimborne Minster, Dorset. The Victoria Hall Cinema was part of the 3* Kings Head Hotel which was built around 1800. It was screening films in the early days of cinema and was operated by Mr. A.S. Prince. Around 1930 it was equipped with an Edibell sound system. It was closed in August 1936 when Sidney G. Prince opened his newly built Tivoli Theatre (which has its own page on Cinema Treasures).
The Cinema space is now used as the bar of the hotel.
