Wonderland Theatre

The building was constructed around 1875. J.W. Myrtle opened the Wonderland Theatre on March 22, 1907. A year later, Myrtle re-seated the venue. The nickelodeon played movies and featured illustrated songs. Vaudeville acts were later added. Myrtle closed in June of 1911 and offered the venue for sale or lease. The Wonderland Theatre was converted in October of 1911 to a printing operation for McClure Company. Today it is used by a restaurant on the ground floor.
