Highway Theater

The Highway Theater opened in 1922 at the northwest corner of NE 52nd Street and NE Sandy Boulevard in Portland, Oregon. A Wurlitzer 2 manual 4 ranks organ was installed in 1921. The instrument was removed in 1928 and installed in the Alameda Theatre (today operating as the Alberta Rose Theatre, which has its own page on Cinema Treasures). The Highway Theater was destroyed by fire on June 20, 1948.
