The 250-seat Ritz Theatre opened on November 10, 1927. It was equipped with a pipe organ. George Hoppes owned the theater. In December 1927 Hoppes and four others incorporated the Ritz Theatre Company. The Ritz Theatre was still open in 1935, but had closed by 1936.
It has since been demolished and the site is now part of a park.
