The Seattle Times is reporting that Seattle’s Moore Theatre will host a free, all-ages community art event — Moore Inside Out — Saturday night, June 20, from 6-10 pm, that incorporates the theatre itself into the experience.

The press release by the theatre’s operator says:

The Moore, Seattle’s oldest operating theatre, will be turned “inside out” as the public explores
over 50 performance, visual, and musical artists performing an artistic intervention throughout the
facility â€" backstage, through the halls, and up the balconies; artists will be exploring the layers of
meaning and possibility of this historic place.

With the Free Sheep Foundation curating the even, it’s definitely going to be interesting, and tonight will be a rare opportunity to see areas of the Moore that are normally off limits, even during performances.
