Family-owned cinema evolves into intimate local fixture

PROVIDENCE, RI — In its 35+ years, the Cable Car Cinema has become a cornerstone in the community. The Bilodeau family owned and operated it for many years until the current owners, Daniel Kamil and Emily Steffian, purchased it five years ago. They continue to thrive due to handpicked presentations of independent films.
