Hotel bar plays tribute to original Vitascope Hall

NEW ORLEANS, LA — The Hyatt Regency New Orleans has a bar called Vitascope Hall in honor of the city’s first for-profit cinema of the same name that opened in 1896. To celebrate the theatre’s anniversary, they screened silent classics on their tv’s last week.
