Paramount Theatre up for auction on ebay
MARSHALL, TX — The historic Paramount Theatre has been put up for auction on ebay with a minimum opening bid of $170,000. Economic downturns have forced the present owner to sell it.
The theatre was converted to a recording studio sometime after closing. According to the owner some TLC is needed to bring the theatre up to code and back to its former glory.
Back in the 1930 on the screen of the famous Paramount theater, you too could see the flick Treasure Island for only ten cents.
Now, you buy the Paramount Theater on Ebay for a cool bid of $170,000.

Looking for vintage theatre sound equipment
Wanted: Vintage theatre sound equipment. Speakers, amplifiers, cabinets, crossovers and vacuum tubes manufactured by Altec Lansing, RCA, Western Electric, etc. and any and all parts or pieces thereof (horns, woofers, etc. working or not). El Capitan for sale
LOS ANGELES, CA — No need to sound the alarms because Disney is locked in as tenant for a while, but the property owner of the building that houses the El Capitan Theatre is looking to sell it off.
The $31-million price tag includes the six-story, 1920s office building into which the theater is built.
Walt Disney Co. will remain the long-term tenant at the theater, which the studio renovated in the early 1990s and has used to showcase many of its recent children’s movies.
The building also houses several entertainment industry tenants, including the studio and offices of “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

Want to run a Drive-In?
Hello everyone, thru CT, I have acquired a couple theaters from my last post. I have a drive-in that I want to give someone here a chance to run and own. It’s in Kentucky. If you ever dreamed of operating your own theater, then contact me. The drive-in is open and makes money. I just have too many theaters and want to let someone run this one.

Belton theatre for sale
BELTON, TX — The historic Beltonian Theatre in Belton, Texas is for sale. We renovated and reopened it in December of 2007. This is a single screen theatre with a retractable screen to do live performances as well as movies. We have stadium seating and tables in front of all the chairs except for the balcony.
