Looks like the latest GE image shows the last remaining drive-in screen is finally gone.

Sorry, the address on the front doors says 4 S. 1st St.

Looks like all the old comments got deleted from this theater.

Here’s what the theater looks like today. It’s the left half of the building shown, with the wood and glass facade. On S. First St, just South of Central Ave.

The 312 N. Main St. address belongs to this theater:

Looks like in the 5740 block of Hwy 85, way North of town. The Main St address is downtown, WAY too small for a drive-in theater.

Should this be classified as demolished then?

Click on my name, and send me the photo to my contact information e-mail address. I can then put it up on a hosting service so the photo can be online. If you want to that is…

Or join a hosting service like Photobucket to be able to post picture here.

Does not show up on searches for Florence, AL, so it must be still closed. Only one showing up is the 12 plex…

Looks like the entire block of 200 S. Main St is the railroad depot now. The street no longer exists, so this is demolished, if the address is correct.

Hey Ken, look at the For Sale listing I posted on Feb 7th. That’s the new related site, just has to be updated…..

Silicon Sam commented about Dillsburg Theatre on Feb 11, 2010 at 12:41 am

According to another site, the Dillsburg Theater was at 5 S. Baltimore, possibly Serradella’s Family Pizza which would be right across the street fro the Citizens Bank, which is at 4 S. Baltimore.

T&L was filmed in Fort Benton and Great Falls, MT. So I would bet the drive-in in Fort Benton was the most likely place where the drive-in scenes were filmed.

Correct, the best angle came from South of where the Java Jo is located, which is 50 N. Clay. Certainly not on 126 E. Jackson.

And you could consider it demolished too…

I would support the N. Clay address too. Compare the 2nd photo given by Ken on Sept 5, 2009 above with this GE shot taken from Clay St.

Notice the church in the background on the right in both pictures?

Drive-Ins.com is also showing this as the Fox Drive-In. No AKA’s listed, but the pictures of each drive-in ticket booth match the other.

If you go due NW from the red marker pin on the map above, there is an open field divided into 8 rectangles. You can still make out the fanned out rows, and the building in the center of the field is in the same exact spot at the old projection booth, and I would assume snack bar. Likely it’s the same building.

April 1995 view shows it to be on it’s way to being a cemetery already.

If this is it HERE then it looks like the screen is still standing tall… Everything else is gone…

In the 5400 Block of W. Hwy 31.
