The Carolina Theater dates back to at least 1927 when a Robert-Morton theater organ was installed. It was closed in 1961.

Tex Marshall & His Educated Horse at the Carolina Theater. Maybe the horse was related to “Mister Ed”.

The 717 seat Carolina Theatre opened in 1927 and was owned/operated by Wilby-Kincey Theatres. The theatre closed in 1961.

Looks like the entire block of 200 S. Main St is the railroad depot now. The street no longer exists, so this is demolished, if the address is correct.
