This single-screen vintage movie house located on Plane Street in Bethel originally seated 400 when it opened in 1938. The Midway Theater closed in April 2008 but reopened again in November of the same year.

Mifway Owner, that seat count was probably from when the Midway first opened.

I knew the owner of the Midway in the 1960s, Mr. John Hewitt (or Hewett?). He was a real character!
