The following information comes from the Ames, Iowa library. The Twin Star Theater opened in 1907 as the Scenic Theater. The Scenic Theater was renamed the Twin Star Theater in 1934. This theater closed sometime in the late 1940’s.

Listed in 1935 as the Twin Star Theater with 350 seats.

This newsletter states that Pyle Photo at 121 Main Street currently occupies the Twin Star building.

LM from he photo that you posted on 11/09/07 that would make the address that if found on the Capitol/Princess Theatre at 117 Main St. more than likely correct. It was never updated on the Capitol/Princess page. It was located between Duff & Douglas.
