Parkway Theatre

Originally a single screen movie theatre which opened in the 1920’s. In later years it became a suburban art house cinema, twinned, and served beers and pizzas.

Sadly closed on March 22, 2009.

The Cerrito Theater is now closed as well according to the Contra Costa Times.

My Uncle Lawrence Borg, was one of the owners of this theatre, purchasing it in 1926, and selling it in 1931.
