Filmhuset - Danske Filminstitut Cinemateket

Located in an older building in the centre of Copenhagen, it was converted into the home of the Danish Film Institute by the architectural firm Nielsen, Nielsen & Nielsen, and opened in 1998.

There are 3-screens, the Bio Asta has 178 seats, the Bio Carl has 140 seats and the Film X Studio Lab has 42 seats. Films programmed are made up from the Danish Film Archive and other sources, which makes this a world-class film complex.

There is also a bookshop, a documentary archive and a restaurant.
