Abbott Theater 1950s

The Abbott Theater operated from at least 1941 and into the 1980’s or later when it was used as a community theater. The building has been demolished.

The Abbott theatre had Smoke and Water damage following a fire that destroyed two neighboring Buildings.A community group thatre abandoned the Abbott in 1991.The theatre had served the town for a quarter of a century.Due to maintenance and Structural problems the Abbott was condemned.
