Lakeside is a gated community, the Orchestra Hall was opened in 1927. The architectural style is Colonial Renaissance.

Over the years updates have been performed on the theatre. In 2001 a seating project was launched and the seats were cleaned and re-cushioned with the project completed in 2004. In 2004 new lamp houses were installed increasing the projection light, and various other projects completed.
