The Star Theatre is listed in the American Motion Picture Directory 1914-1915 edition. Still listed in the 1927 edition of Film Daily Yearbook, it had gone from listings by 1930. It was back in the listings in 1934 to 1944.

Nice find, Tinseltoes. Can you make out what it says on the vertical sign?
That’s an optical illusion. The vertical sign is for a “Chop Suey” restaurant next to the theatre.
