Located in the country town of Geelong, to the south-west of Melbourne. The Regent Theatre was opened on 11th December 1922, and was designed by architect Henry E. White with a seating capacity of 1,361.

The Regent Theatre was closed in 1964. The building has been converted into the Market Square Shopping Centre, which incorporates new buildings, and only the exterior wall on Little Mallop Street remains as part of the original theatre building.
