This Terrace Theatre was opened by Wilby-Kincey/ABC Southeastern Theatres about the same time as their Ultravision Theatre (1969) It was located in the old Grant City North shopping center on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston, while the Ultravison was in the Grant City West center on Sam Rittenburg Boulevard.

The design was the same as several that Wilby-Kincey was building at the time (Richland Mall-Columbia, SC…Cardinal-Raleigh, NC…Camelot-Myrtle Beach, SC) of 740-750 seats, 70mm capability, surround stereo sound.
