The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, named for Marcus Theatres headquartered in Milwaukee, opened around 1969 and cost 12.7 million, a new wing was added in 1997.
Vogel Hall has film screenings on a 16' x 20' cinema screen with conventional theater seating. Vogel Hall is named for Charles P. Vogel, born in Milwaukee, October 8, 1895 – September 22, 1959. Dale Kuntz, Milwaukee’s Mr. Movies showed films at the Performing Arts Center.
