Located in Denton, Lancashire, in the east of Greater Manchester, on Ashworth Street, opposite Walker Street. The Denton Palace Cinema was opened on 24th July 1912 with Blanch Sweet in “The Lesser Evil”. It was operated by Brennan’s Cinemas Ltd. In 1930 it was equipped with a British Thomson Houston(BTH) sound system. In 1937 alterations and extensions were carried out to the plans of architect Henry F. Elder. The Denton Palace Cinema was closed on 29th November 1959 with Michael Gough in “Horrors of the Black Museum”.

It was demolished in the early-1970’s and the site became a car park for a Co-Operative store, which today is an Lidl supermarket.
