Located in North Berwick, East Lothian. The Forrester’s Hall was built prior to 1897. It was used for functions, banquets etc. It was converted into the Cinema House in the early-1910’s. In the mid-1920’s it was taken over by Thomas J. Scott and was renamed Empire Cinema. Around 1930 it was equipped with a Britains Best sound system. It was closed in early-1938 and was demolished to build the Playhouse Cinema.
