Located in the South Side Glasgow district of Shawlands Cross. The Shawlands Picture House opened in 1914. It was operated by the Shawlands Cinema Ltd. The entrance was through an existing apartment building and the auditorium at the rear had a corrugated iron roof. In April 1916 it was taken over by Scottish Cinema and Variety Theatres which became Associated British Cinemas(ABC). It was closed due to licencing requirements on 30th August 1930.

It became the Top Hat Ballroom and later part of a Co-operative supermarket. In 2018 the entrance is a florist shop.
