Opened on 24th June 1977 on the first floor of the Merrylands Mall Shopping Centre. It was originally planned to be named Classic Cinema, but opened as the Mall Cinema. Closed on 16th October 1983 after expiry of the lease and refusal by the shopping centre management to renew the lease. Converted to retail (exact use unknown?).
