The Picture House was rebuilt in 1913 to the plans of architect Thomas Houston. In 1915 further alterations were carried out to the plans of architect Frederick William Higginbotham. It was operated by Irish Empire Palaces Ltd. and around 1929 was equipped with a British Talking Pictures(BTP) sound system. This was later replaced by a Western Electric(WE) system. The Picture House was still open in 1958, but had closed by 1963.

By 2023 it is in use as office space for the Armagh Credit Union.
