No reserve auction for Princess Theatre
AURORA, MO — The longtime owner of the Princess Theatre, Shelby Ruble, is auctioning off his theatre to pay for medical bills. The 1943 structure will be up for a no reserve auction in November along with other items from the theatre.

Demolition of Beach Theatre
CAPE MAY, NJ — The inevitable finally happened as the Beach Theatre came down last week. Residences or a hotel will most likely go in its place.

Sony to stop paying theaters for 3-D glasses
According to the Boston Globe Sony has announced that effective next summer, they will no longer pay theaters for 3-D glasses for their films. This is in anticipation of a couple blockbusters. It’s unclear who will cover the cost and who should be doing that is certainly a valid question.

Miller Theater to be restored
