This theater stays open for the love of the movie bsns not for the profits this theater does not make.1rst let me say i like this theater very much but this is why it does not make money (imo)1.Mattituck takes most of the North fork movie bsns as it is central on the fork and Greenport is so east.2.Greenport should always run mattinee in the summer not just rainy day mat. 3.Never been a fan of one show a night or weekends only.

This theater had a desk (built IN) as a box office one of the few theaters i have ever seen with this set up.

Vito the public does not have to care about it the theater owners do , and as SOON as digital is perfected you will see it in all your chains..

I was dm for this theater for CIneplex and can tell you for sure the grosses have always just been fair . Fair for a theater that has no competion for MILES is not good . Someday a theater will go in RIVERHEAD and when it does this is done!

This theater does ok if it is around for a long time it will be for one of 2 reasons 1. The landlords family runs the theater as they do many of the stores in the center, 2. Riverhead does not open a theater.

DAVE -BRONX / The RIALTO is also the warner theater as cineplex changed its name and thats how it ended its movie run…..its main claim to fame as the WARNER is playing HELLRAISER and ROBOCOP…..NAMED AFTER THE WARNER TWIN OR STANLEY FROM 1500 BRoadway…….. there was a second theater in the basement that was never used………

i think this theater had a fire inside in the late 90s
