A theatre exhibiting motion pictures was in operation here at least as early as 1915 and as late as 1928.

More information would be appreciated.

Listed in the American Motion Picture Directory;1914-1915 edition.

It is still listed as open in the Film Daily Yearbook;1927 edition with 299 seats, but has disappeared from listings in the 1930 edition of F.D.Y.

Listed in the 1937 Film Daily Year Book as the closed Town Playhouse.

In 1929 the building was leased to Ye Office Tavern but it appears to have returned to movies by at least 1936.
