Calypso Cinema

Opened in 1920 as the Crosly Trocadero Cinema with 1,200 seats. It was re-modeled in 1934 to the plans of architect Ferdinand Van Mierlo. In 1973 it was taken over by the Calypso chain based in the Nederlands, and it was re-named Calypso Cinema with three screens seating 577 (equipped with 70mm), 347 and 278.

Closed in 2000, rebuilt during 2002-2003, it is now a bank office.
