Nearby Theaters
Located in the southeast London inner-city district of Peckham. The Cinema House was opened in 1911. It was operated by South Eastern Electric Theatres Ltd. In around 1919, it was re-named Imperial Playhouse. It was closed around 1933.
It has since been demolished, and a modern parade of shops is now on this stretch of Rye Lane. In 2008, Peacock’s clothes store occupies the exact spot of the Rye Lane Electric Theatre.
