Village Hall Cinema

Following the demise of the Squash Court Cinema, another (This time nameless) entrepreneur came along and, no doubt tempted by the success of the former cinema, leased the Village Hall in Abersoch one night per week and commenced showing films during the summer months only. Nobody could tell me the date these finished but it seems likely that they ceased in 1960. There is no trace of a licence for the shows so they would have been in 16mm. With their end films disappeared from Abersoch altogether.
