The first permanent venue for films in Beaumaris was the Town Hall, which became a regular once a week venue for John Codmans Touring Party (Based in Bangor) from 1914.
Codman went bankrupt in 1915 and this ended regular film shows in Beaumaris until the opening of the Regal Cinema in Ratings Row soon afterwards.
