Located in Stanton Hill to the north of Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. The Stanton Hill Cinema was opened in 1923. It was independently operated.

By 1947 the Stanton Hill Cinema was operated by the S. Graham Circuit of Nottingham. New owners took over in around December 1954, and it was re-named Rex Cinema. It was closed on 27th June 1959 with Guy Madison in "Beast of Hollow Mountain" and Robert Wagner in "A Kiss Before Dying". It immediately became a Lucky Ways Bingo Club, later becoming a Walkers Bingo Club, which closed in 1987. The building stood empty and unused until at least 1991. Since then it has been demolished and the site is now a car park for a newly built Netto supermarket.
