Leeds Harehills PH demolition

Located in Roundhay, a suburb 2 miles north east of the City centre; the Clock Cinema was to be built later just a few hundred yards further north. The Picture House opened on Monday 16th December 1912 and closed on Saturday 6 October 1963 with “The Last Days of Pompeii”. The premises were then used for bingo but demolished in July 1968 to make way for shops.
