In the Govanhill/Crosshill district on the South Side of of Glasgow, the Crosshill Picture Palace was opened in 1920 by J. M. Drummond.
The grand sandstone frontage concealed a ridiculously long and narrow interior with a cramped circle. Rear projection was used.
The cinema closed in 1952 and became retail premises.
