Located in the Hunslet district of Leeds. A conversion of the Primitive Methodist Chapel. The Pictureland was opened at Easter, 28th April 1910. It was operated by Thomas Thompson. In 1930 it was equipped with an Electrochord sound system. There were plans to drawn up by architect Walter Bickerton to enlarge the cinema to 1,100-seats, but they were never carried out, although the front of the building was modernised. It had closed by 1934.
