Tycho Brahe Planetarium & IMAX

Located in the Frederiksberg district, just off the city centre, it has a pleasant lakeside setting on the edge of a park. The unusual ultra-modern design of the building by architect Knud Monk, has become a landmark in the city.

The Tycho Brahe Planetarium & IMAX opened in 1989. Seating in the main auditorium is provided for 243 and in the smaller Omnimax cinema, with rocking chairs there are 40 seats. There is also a cafe.
