The very first movie ad for the El Lago Theatre – Downtown Rice Lake. The first night was Tuesday 5-21-1935 & the movie was “Go Into Your Dance” starring Al Jolson & Ruby Keeler. The El Lago was the first building in Rice Lake with air conditioning.

Films on the marquee were released in 1969 & `70, though neither were pornography films.
So it appears North Station Cinema 1 was also trying to be a revival house.
