Opened on 8/8/1968 on the east screen with “The Odd Couple” and “Winchester 73” and on the west screen with “Yours, mine and ours” and “Spencer Mountain”.
Opened on 13/11/1997 with 5676 seats(and 30 screens). World’s largest projection room(240 metres in length). Reduced to 26 screens in 2004. Some of the unused space was returned to Westfield Shopping Centre(for other shops?).
The store was possibly an antique store?
