Another week, another new batch of theaters!
Today brings us a nice collection of theater images from all over the US, including a beautiful shot of Catalina Island’s Avalon Theater (thanks to John Ledwon), a vintage photo of the Fox Theatre in Redlands, CA (thanks to Rick Schneblin), photos of 42nd Street’s Liberty and Empire theaters (thanks to Jean), and a wondeful image of the Paramount Theater in Amarillo, TX (thanks to Wes Reeves).

We close out our latest batch of theaters photos with an outstanding group of images from Cinema Treasures UK volunteer Ian Grundy.
Ian has helped us greatly expand our UK theater listings and photo collection, and today is no different. This group of 20 images includes shots of the Baroque theaters Coliseum and Theatre Royal, as well as shots of the majestic Empire and the quirky Roxy (which is actually located on the banks of a canal!).

Today’s batch of theater photos is a collection of 20 new images from theaters in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania.
Cinema Treasures volunteers Ian Grundy and Roger Katz bring us shots of Boston theaters the Century and the Orpheum, as well as Connecticut’s Edmond Town Hall Theatre, Palace Theatre, and Forest Theatre.
Additionally, Ross Melnick continues his exploration of Long Island cinemas with shots of the Sag Harbor Cinema, Trylon Theater, UA Midway 9, UA Southampton, Loews Elmwood, Loews Fresh Meadows, and the Lafayette Theatre.

Thanks to all of your contributions, we’ve added over 1,500 “Cinema Treasures” in the last six months alone. Our current database now includes over 2,500 theaters and almost 1,250 photos.

Among today’s terrific new batch of photos are several withering, but extant, Bridgeport, Connecticut movie houses as photographed by Cinema Treasures volunteer and local theater expert Roger Katz.
Other highlights include several English cinemas from our UK theater guru, Ian Grundy, and photos from William French, Michael Raney, David Jones, Ron Pierce, and Cinema Treasures' Canadian guide, Chad Irish.

We’ve just added a large batch of new and vintage photos thanks to Terry Charnock, Grant Smith, Bryan Krefft, Ian Grundy, Ron Pierce, Shannon Quay, Matt Fessler, Benjamin Traxel, and Cheryl Crandell.
Today’s group includes a photo of The Essoldo in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England during its 1968 run of “Gone With The Wind”, as well as several vintage postcards of long-gone movie houses.
Other photos include recent shots of the Egyptian in Park City, UT, the shuttered Quo Vadis in Westland, MI, the Rodgers Theatre in Poplar Bluff, MO, and an interior image of the Ryedale Palace Cinema in Malton, North Yorkshire, England.
