Located in Long Eaton (on the border of Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire) at the corner of Broad Street and Albert Road. The Alexandra Rink was opened on 30th April 1910. It was converted into the Picture House by Long Eaton based architect John F. Dodd, opening on 14th December 1912. On 30th April 1916 it was re-named Cinema. It was closed on 22nd November 1917 due to war-time conditions.

It was converted into a factory and was destroyed by a fire on 23rd June 1971 when it was an upholstery factory. Housing has been built on the site.
